Space Mosque by Saks Afridi

Curated by Jesse Damiani and Sinziana Velicescu, Elsewhere is a Negative Mirror will feature the work of 10 influential artists exploring place and the architectural imaginary in digital realities. The exhibition will showcase work that uses the built environment as a subject to explore perception, space, and reality.

The exhibition will include works by Saks Afridi, Kirk Finkel (untitled, xyz), Vince Fraser, Mari.K (MadMaraca), Le Fawnhawk x Deep Light Labs, Nate Mohler, Sabrina Ratté, Nicolas Sassoon, and Thato Tatai.

Elsewhere is a Negative Mirror will take place as an in-person NFT exhibition at the LA Art Show and at Vellum LA gallery and as an online auction in partnership with SuperRare. Those interested in bidding on artwork at the exhibition, please make sure to secure ETH in advance and open an account on SuperRare.

The private viewing reception on January 20th will also feature a one-day immersive pop-up installation of UNDREAM by Sabrina Ratte.

UNDREAM depicts an imagined future where utopia and dystopia collapse, inspired by the photomontages of Superstudio – a major force in the Radical architecture and design movement of the late 1960s. UNDREAM will be displayed on a 600 sq ft panoramic LED wall for one night only.

The exhibition Elsewhere is a Negative Mirror will remain on a view till February 13th by appointment only.
