OONA doesn’t really exist, but takes herself very seriously so you should too.

OONA is an anonymous conceptual artist who uses performance and video art to play with the intersection of gender and technology. Specifically, OONA’s work is centered in NFTs and Web3.0, examining how supposedly progressive technology collides with socially regressive ideas about gender.

Lori Baldwin is a Berlin-based performance artist who uses dark humor and glamor to challenge commonly held ideas about power, gender, eroticism, and death. Her playful, thought-provoking work straddles the line between provocation and performance.

OONA x Lori Baldwin’s collaboration launched with a guerilla feminist art piece, Milking the Artist, at Art Basel Miami in 2022 that went viral with a winning bid of $200K for the artist’s breasts milk and received coverage in Paper Magazine, The Daily Mail and other big names that are designed to impress you.
