Artists Who Code was a selection of generative works by women and non-binary artists, presented with Artsy as an exhibition at Vellum LA and an online auction. Responding to the perception of the NFT world as a male-dominated space, the exhibition foregrounded the central role women and non-binary creators have played in digital art and technology. Using generative techniques such as AI and algorithms, the work explored possibilities for a new language in digital art and beyond.
Held during Women's History Month, the auction donated a portion of proceeds to the non-profit Girls Who Code.
