Color :: Field was the gallery's inaugural exhibition, presented with SuperRare. It brought together eight new media and digital artists whose work draws a line between contemporary digital art and the Color Field painting of the 20th century, revealing parallels between painterly and digital abstraction and the interplay of color, gesture, and form in a reality suffused with the virtual.
The opening also featured a one-night immersive installation of CONTINUUM by Krista Kim, a meditative generative animation made with Efren Mur, with music by Jeff Schroeder, shown on a 600 square foot panoramic LED wall.
